Engagement

The Engagements section shows you how each individual contact interacted with your messages. Instead of overall statistics, this feature gives you person-by-person details so you can see exactly who received, opened, clicked, or bounced your communication.

  • It is available in the top menu bar by clicking the Engagements button it will open a detailed engagement table.

This feature helps you understand:

  • Who received your message
  • Who opened it
  • Who clicked on links
  • Whose message failed to deliver
  • Which contacts are engaged and which are inactive

The table lists all contacts related to your event along with their engagement status. Let’s break down each column in simple terms:

1. Name

  • Displays the name of the contact
  • Names are clickable, that allows you to view more details about that contact

2. Email

  • Shows the email address of the contact
  • It Helps to identify users clearly, especially if names are similar

3. Sent

  • Indicates whether the message was successfully sent
  • ✔️ (check mark) indicates that your Message was sent
  • (-) indicates that your message was not sent
  • (X) indicates that your message was Failed to deliver

4. Open

  • This Shows whether the contact opened the message
  • ✔️(check mark) indicates that your message was opened
  • (-) indicates that your message was not opened

5. Click

  • Shows whether the contact clicked any link in the message
  • ✔️(check mark) indicates that Link was clicked
  • (-) indicates that no clicks have been made.

6. Bounce

  • Shows whether the message failed to deliver
  • (–)indicates that No bounce (delivered successfully)
  • (X) indicates that message has been bounced 

This feature helps you:

1. See exact user behavior, not just totals
2. Identify engaged users who opened messages
3. Spot delivery issues like bounced emails
4. Follow up with high-interest contacts
5. Clean your email list by removing invalid emails

How engagement data is used:

  • Segment users based on behavior
  • Send follow-ups only to interested users
  • Improve message content and CTAs
  • Reduce spam complaints by removing bounced emails

The Engagements feature helps you clearly see how each contact interacts with your messages, so you can make better decisions and communicate more effectively.
